I am looking to move onto these, over my EVA mats. What brands would you recommend, and what sized bags do you buy? What do you pay per bag?
Would it be worth considering, rather than getting a pallet of 10 or 15kg bags delivered, getting a 1 ton sack? It isn't sealed. My shed is under cover and enclosed, but is slightly damp. Could I end up with them all expanding and filling my entire shed? Would they be easy enough just to, say, fill a trug and carry them to the stable to throw down?
Do you hose them, or do you lay them dry? I have heard of folk doing both......
How thick do you lay them? (I have a tendency to lay what are probably much thicker than required shavings beds).
