What wormer?

I need to worm 2 new arrivals but am unsure what wormer to get them. There are so many to choose from ranging from £7 to £30 and I’m so confused! I haven’t owned horses for years and it used to be a choice of just 2 brands and now I’m getting totally baffled. Can anyone advice please? Thank you!!

Do you know their worming history? If a new horse comes to my yard without a history, I give it a Pramox to clear it out before it goes onto my land.
With my existing residents, this time of year I use Equest to target encysted small redworm, then test/worm for tapeworm in spring. The rest of the year I worm count so that I can worm tactically if necessary

Never use pramox but would isolate and use Equimax then next month use equest. Read the information before using pramox as it can cause illness even death in some susceptible equines

Please avoid pramox, my horse that I'd had for 20 years died 48 hours after being wormed with it.
