What worming products....do u use?

Just wondering....I usually go for what is easy to administer...for my devil horse

What do u use and why? other than for the treatment of worms...lol

I mean for easiness/cover/reputation/cost e,t,c

I send off my horse's poop to Gill at Westgate Labs.

My horse's worm count has been so low I've only had to worm for tapeworm using equest pramox.

We are using Westgate too, starting on their tailored programme shortly which will involved only worming as necessary on wormcounts from poo. So far used Panacur 5 Day Guard last autumn and since then Equest.

I use Equest and Equest Pramox twice a year for tapeworm. Its a pretty complex subject though and easy to change wormers thinking that you are in a different chemical group when you aren't ( as my yard has just done!! but YO gives the responsibility to a novice so i ignore it all)
There are several good websites that give you all the info.

Just curious, why are you using equest Pramox when you only need worm for tape, why not Equitape (for Tape only?)
