Mine would reside with OH and all rescues returned to my mam....if we both died...say next week when we are on a plane to our hols(Yipee) random cheery bit(for hols...not crashing

Then... mam would take and keep them all

...my own...not the rescues...they would get re-homed as they would here, she would also take my cats and horses.

What would happen to yours?
 
My old dog 7yrs goes to my brother.
My young lab 18mnth training to be a worker is to go to my ex as he works labs & she would be kept working & not a spoilt pet to get fat!
It is in my Will.
 
Dan would put up with the terrors - if we both died then Ma and Pa would have all 5 - all fighting in a heap I guess! Apart from Star who would still be her usual dope-on-a-rope self!

back to my daughter who i `borrowed` her from.
she came nearly 4 years ago to look after the house after we had been burglered and were waiting for the window to be fixed.
 
Parents would take 'em I guess - And they would die within a few weeks from lack of love!!! God they're spoiled mutts xD

I would hope the younger two would stay with the family (ex is kids guardian and I don't think they would let him part with them!). The old girl, who is 13 and used to be my Mums dog, would be pts. I don't think it would be fair to uproot her at her age. If my whole family died (god forbid) I have a very good friend who knows I would want her to be responsible for my dogs. I think she would hopefully keep Buffy, and possibly the 10 year old, and would make the same decision to put the 13 year old to sleep. If she was unable to keep the younger ones I am confident she would find very good homes for them.
 
If anything happened to me then OH would continue to look after him, if something happened to both of us then my parents would have him and if something happened to them then my aunt would have him.
I had to have a long contingency plan as he's a rescue dog and I couldn't bear the thought of him ever ending up there again!
 
I've spoken to OH about this... We are going to put it into our will's...

If either one of us went - Loki stays with the other. But if we both did - then it's tricky because both of our families would want him...

OH's mum is obsessed with him and really wants a dog - but she has cats that hate dogs... My family love him too and he is happy when we stay with them... think they would have to both have access to him - whatever happened

Boris (one) would be on the first plane to Austria where my parents lives. The cat probably goes to my next door neighbour and my parents keep her fed/vetted until her death (she's 13 now) I don't think she'll cope with flight!

Buck the horse, probably stay where he is until his death (he's nearly 19) Or hoping christmas_derby would love to have him. (i know she'll want Boris! she'll have to argue with my parents on this........)

Bit morbid me thinks... but u'll never know.

Haven't a clue but given that everyone that meets him wants to keep him I reckon there would be a long queue fighting over him

I only have one JRT and my mum (who absolutely adores her) would have her to the end of her (JRT's) days. If my mum was also killed, my dog would be PTS becuase she is so terrified of stranges and I would rather know that she wasn't going to get mistreated etc.

I'm hoping that I've got a few more decades yet though!
