girl at yard just bought 14.2 turned away since september very fine type - and when she gets on it rears vertical - lunging fine - but i have noticed when i ride in menage it has a shaven patch behind the saddle could this mean it had some injections in its back ?

Are you sure it's shaved rather than just bare skin showing? It could be the end result of a very badly fitting saddle that has rubbed all the hair off in a patch at the back. I've seen many horses with a telltale rubbed bare patch at the back of the saddle area.

I agree with this it often looks like a shaven bit, I've seen it many times too. I'd bet good money its either got or has had a badly fitting saddler which could well explain the rearing. I'd get a saddle fitter out

My old arab mare years ago had an MRI scan for kissing spines and they shaved her back exactly there.
If it is definitely shaved then it sounds like it has had some investigation done and she needs to find out why as it doesn't sound very safe!
