Been trying to sell it for ages and have just had an offer. Want to know if I would be silly to accept it?

(Sorry not sure if I am allowed to do this, did read T+C'S but couldn't find anything about this)

It's a black leather GP GFS, no marks on it at all.

Yours looks in pretty good condition I would say 350 ish??

I bought it for £650 new.

Woman has offered £200. I think it is worth more than that but I am so desperate to sell it I am tempted to say yes!

I would say atleast £275- my saddle isn't selling either that we have for sale! Its a nightmare isn't it. I am not totally clued up on prices at the mo but I would say it's worth atleast £250 more £300-£350

I mean to say if you are desperate to sell then £275 although someone else may be clued up better! Have a search on some other ads for them and see what they are up for

It looks new and suppose it is a bit cheap but depends if you need the money now or if you can wait to see if you get a better offer, I have been trying to sell a gfs dressage for ages with no offers its older than yours but only wanted £250 for it would take a bit less though, thing is things are just not selling and people want them for nothing so I suppose in the current market its not bad but they are getting a bargain.

I would have said similar to K+J, I tend to think for something in good condition & relatively new that I'd expect to pay 50-60% of it's new price but that's just my little rule when I'm buying things!

You could always send a piccie of it and the details to saddles direct, they may make a higher offer to buy it from you or if they don't they will at least tell you what it's true private sale value is :)

I had them value one a couple of weeks ago and they were spot on with what I thought it was worth, answered within a few hours too - sadly they didn't want to buy that one from me though as they already had a couple in stock so I've still got to shift it :p

It is in great condition and looks next to new. I have had a look on Preloved, eBay etc and people have got them up for £450 plus.

I am not desperate for the money but I would just really like it gone! Doesn't help that I have another GFS in exactly the same condition just an inch smaller that I also want to sell!

Good idea about saddles direct :)

Thanks - think I will decline her offer!

Ask saddles direct how much they would give you for it. Then sell it to them or take a better private offer. I usually take the saddles direct price as my starting price and sell via online auction. If it doesn't sel I still have the SD option and if it does then I've made a bit more than minimum :)
