What would you buy your horse if.....

A brand spanking new dressage and jumping saddle, top notch bridle and a nice 7.5 tonne lorry so we could get out and about. Ohh and a shed load of lessons but I'm not certain he would want them....

i would get them a jump and dressage saddle made to measure, a full wardrobe of neue schule bits and lots of carrots!

oooh - Id buy her a nomination to the best sprint stallion around, all her offspring have won races and shes never gone to a top stallion - love to see just how good she could make one..... :)

oh - and a posh leather headcollar with her name on !!

A suede Fylde saddle, a nice little horsebox to trundle about in and a talented rider on tap, instead of me lumbering about onboard!

Captain - could do with a new saddle and bridle, but tbh what I would most like to give him money can't buy. I would love to be able to go back in time and stop the abuse and pain that he had to suffer.

Fany- I would like to buy a trap and have a go at driving her. Also I would love to be able to put her into foal, she absolutely adores foals and I think will be a good mummy, she has had 4 already she lost one just before we bought her. But just at the present I am poorly and also my job is not overly secure so can't risk bringing another life into the world without security.

For both I wish I could afford my own yard and fields. However, they are very happy where they are now so probably best not to move them.

His own field so I could have the grass just the way we need it and he could go out more. A 3.5T lorry so he could go to shows. Two boett rugs (so he can wash one, wear one) and every single accessory I could lay my hands on that was Whitney stripe (red, gold and black) coloured!

What my horse really needs, money can't buy. She needs 4 new legs!

Mentally, she is a very youthful 19 year old who seems to enjoy her work more and more the older she gets. However, she is now on the verge of retirement as she has low ringbone in both fronts, has done both front check ligaments, has arthritis of the high hock joint on right hind, and has now gone lame on back left.

Out of the things possible if money was no object, she would have every treatment available to help her problems, a complete new wardrobe, and our own land and stables with a little companion for her.

New legs and back? and if not then a lorry so we can go and hack in all sorts of exciting places and lots and lots of land so she can just munch her way into retirement!

Her own land and stables with indoor outdoor schools and somewhere for her mom (me) to live on site. A made to measure jumping saddle and a hundred new rugs. Oh and the grey mare in the next field that she is in love with just to let her know i'm ok with her orientation choices.

Horse No 1 would have a hydrotherapy pool. And a SJ area with a kids playground surface. Soft landing but not slippy.

Horse No 2 would have a horsewalker with music. He loves them, thinks he's at the fairground.

Horse No 3 would have all weather gallops and xc course. (Though she would like her own dog and jollyball to play football with.)
