ok so decided to go for a hack today was riding my pony and leading the foal (always do this) we where ploding along all of a sudden my pony takes off flat out i let go of the foal and my pony took me over a hedge i got dumped in the hedge got him back got back on didnt have the foal at this point she had gone he was fine plooding along then he went flat out again did bucks rears u name it sat to it then he dumped me again took him self over a 5 bar gate 40mins later was still going flat out, found the foal thought he may get more quiet but he started pulling her mane and rearing at her. hes on loan to me and he was so good but hes getting fitter and more naughty, now have broken bridle im really brusised poor foal is still shaking and hes still wound up- Help ps had saddle checked back and teeth
 
Hmm i would lunge said pony befre getting on again. But would get on asap without foal in tow and concentrate on the horse, if he starts doing it agian i would take him home starught away. Or ride him in a enclosed area first! With a soft floor to cushion your landing :P !

I take it this is out of character. You say saddle back teeth done but when - can't have been today?

All sorts of reasons could have caused it - maybe he got bitten or stung, maybe something, somewhere hurt, could he have trodden on something, or the saddle have slipped etc etc etc....?
