Im in a real rut at the mo and need some help!

Ive got the opportunity to move Arch to a new yard, its much closer to home than the one he's currently at and would save me money. SO, that all sounds lovely and we all want to save money, BUT one major sticking point is that Id be leaving my Mum behind

We are at livery together at the mo and she wont come with me. Our current yard is miles away and this new one Ive found is 3 minutes from work

The facilites are good, maybe not as good as current yard, but Im skint and need to save money and travel costs.
But I just dont want to leave Mum! If I didnt have Mum to consider, Id go, but I no Im gonna miss riding with her and larking about at the yard. Everyone at our current yard is such a good laugh and I get on really well with everyone, but I need to think about my finances, not to mention the extra time I could spend with my OH (soon to be hubby!) At the mo I dont get home till gone 8 most nights and I could be home considerably earlier if I move Arch closer.

i have to agree with amymay!! if your mum gets on with everyone at the current yard then she'l be fine without you or she may miss you and decide to move and join you, you wont know until you do it!

saving money and more time with your partner are good reasons to be moving plus you'l more than likely be able to spend more time with your horse too!
 
I would move, may be your Mum might join you latter when she sees, what lovely new friends you have? my Mum hates any kind of change but if you break her in gently she's ok, when your Mum sees your boy settled & has met your new livery friends & no doubt she will miss you any way? may be she will change her mind?
