I have Royal London show coming up at the end of the month and ive not done my entries yet. I have 2 classes on Saturday starting at 11.30am and 3 classes on Sunday.

My intention was to go friday night and stay over fri and sat. Inky would sleep in the box ( he has PLENTY room, we can leave the ramp down and he can see out all the time as oppose to hiring a stable at £75 and it having big doors so he cant ) Now the question is do i stay over the fri and sat or do i get up early and travel sat morning so we only have to stay one night. Am purely thinking of whats best for Inky. The pondry is...

1. Go friday night so he has two nights away from home staying on the box or..

2. go early sat, but its a 3hr drive and he would then have to do 2 classes after the journey but at least he only has one night away from home

p.s. we would also have the new pup so it would mean either one night or two nights away for him too...

Which would you choose???

Have you read the small print on the entry forms? You may find that horses are not allowed to overnight in lorries on the site. Certainly Scope don't allow it.

I think so, dogs are allowed and if we have calculated it right it will be 11 days after his last injection. If vet doesnt advise it my OH can always stay at home with pup and i can go on my own

Correct. So you have no choice but to rent stabling.....

Come down on the Friday night and stay - we will be there all being well!

I have seen Inky in his box, as he is mini mini I can vouch that it is like a stable for him!

Bring dog, Bumble Dog will be there too!

Would take and go for the duration, leave puppy in our lorry

- and leave inky in his spacious box!! - for person that mentioned not leaving them overnight, dont think anyone at Royal London should have problem with that.

We are talking miniatures that have boxes bigger than their stables at home!! - ours stayed in lorry overnight (7.5t) took partitions out and had huge space, they were both laying down in the morning!!

Come on Mrs Stinkbomb you know you need to do all weekend, this is why the new box!!! - still want puppy tho!!

Hello there!!!!

Are you taking both little monsters???!!!

Ive emailed both Royal London and East of England and they are happy he stays on the box. It is far better for him as he would have to go in a stable on his own and he wouldnt be able to see out, he would go MENTAL.
