If you someone had emailed you ridden pictures of there horse within 2 days of you asking for them and the owner had asked for a reply whether they like him or not would you reply or not?
I am trying to sell horse and am sick of people just after a nosey i don't mind if they say no sorry don't like look of him or whatever but not when they don't even let you know if they have recieved them or not.

i'd probably reply saying they were good (whether they were or not) then would make my polite excuses for not contining with my interest if i didnt like them! i dont think they're is any need to be rude but i would certainly reply even if its just "thanks for sending so quick i'll need to have think etc"

I had this so much when i was trying to sell my horse it really annoyed me, that and the ones who say they'll phone back and never do why not just say thanks but no thanks.

I am afraid that if I did not like the horse I probably would not reply so as not to upset the owner.

me too... and also, sometimes people look at hundreds of horses in their search. you have to bear that in mind too. you're selling one, and all your energy is going into that one sale. i went to see about 30 horses, but enquired about hundreds in my search for a dream horse.... it would have been a fulltime job for me to respond politely to every single one.

don't be disheartened. just play it cool. and the right buyer will come along. x

There is nothing wrong with replying and saying thanks but not what we are looking for but to be honest you'll just have to sit tight and play the waiting game and expect this when selling your horse, someone will come back to you eventually just takes a lot of people to see your horse before they do.

I'm selling my youngster at the moment and have created a website about her with all details and loads of pics and videos - I'm really hoping that that will reduce the number of people asking annoying questions, and anyone who does come to see her will know enough about her to be serious buyers!

In answer to your question, I hate wasting people's time and would have replied to say whether I was interested or not.

better over the internet wasting time then spending hours getting horses ready and then not bothering to turn up or just look at it as a free ride trust me ive had a few to many of those

Unfortunately courtesy and manners are almost extinct these days, and this sort of behaviour is more the norm than bothering to reply or give a straight answer. Afraid you just have to grin and bare it.
