I keep my horses on DIY and the other day i spotted YOs daughter (she is in her 40's) taken her nephew whos only real young in my field, which has my 2 year old and my cob who is bargy and if he sees a gate open he will try and make a run for it depending on what time of the day he is, he also won't stop and would walk straight into you. Now i don't know what to do because i don't want to be getting told off if he goes and barges straight into them or runs out his gate i also don't want them scaring youngster away if he goes towards them as i have only just got his catching sorted out etc They do know what hes like and are well aware of his little tricks so would you tell YO or just leave them to it and do i ahve any right to be annoyed?

Maybe mention to YO that you saw daughter and nephew in the field and you were a bit concerned and surprised they were in the field when they know what he is like - you could say that you would hate anything to happen....

Any ideas why they were in there?

just messing about wouldn't mind but she has her own fields on the other side of the yard which are massive compared to mine think shes a bit sp

Could you say something along the lines that he barged past a friend of yours and as a result you were worried for YO daughter when you saw them in there. So do you think YO should just remind her that she is taking a risk going into the paddock

You being all concerned would probably be the most diplomatic way of doing it
