I'd put my friend at the yards horses out for her yesterday morning as she was at a wedding so I asked her if she would put my two out this morning, which was fine, as I was working and it would mean I got a bit of a lay in.
I was mucking out this evening after work and couldn't find his bandages (which older horse has on at night), suddenly a horrid thought came over me that she's turned him out with them still on!
Poor horse has had his back leg bandages on all day in the field! Luckily the velcro stayed done up for he could of got caught up in the bandage and seriously injured himself! His legs were fine under the bandage, as I never bandage tightly, and somehow they wern't even muddy, the gamgee was only slightly damp at the bottom.
Now I know hope this was a genuine mistake by my friend. She's brought them in at night before and has put his bandages on then, so she knows he dosen't get turned out in them. She's been around horses for years so I'm pretty sure she knows that horses don't get turned out in stable bandages! Would you be cross? Should I say anything to her?
Thanks x
