Hi all just bought a new boy and he is due to be shod, now it seems its very difficult to get farriers to take on new clients round here but managed to get one out a week tomorrow and i have rang about 10 lol! Problem is he lost a front shoe today in the field, hoof is fine and no lameness/footiness. So i asked a farrier who was at the yard today if he had time to take off his shoes and give him a trim just until other farrier comes next week - no time! What a suprise! Do you think he would be ok to lunge (have no saddle, saddler coming on the 31st) on a soft surface in the outdoor? Or just leave him until farrier has been?
Thanks for the help
