Tomorrow i am out all day and am un-decided what to do with Ned, he is normally out all day untill i bring him in around 4pm, however, i will be late tomorrow so do i:-

1. Give breakfast and turn him out around 7am and bring him in at 12pm lunchtime with a big haynet where he will stay untill i get there in the evening around 7pm (is 5 hours morning turnout long enough, knowing he will be in for 7?)

2. Leave him in all day with breakfast, haynet, a spare haynet for lunch which someone will pop in for me untill i get there at 7pm and home to a VERY grumpy horse!

3. Turn him out and allow a very kind offeree to bring him in later but knowing he will be caked in mud and won't get his feet picked out (i have a big bugbear about dirty legs and hooves, Neds are cleaned everyday without fail) (i could wash down and pick out 7pm but i may be a bit squiffy!)

Merry Christmas xx

I know going to bed with muddy legs wont make a blind bit of difference to him, they get a good coating of pig oil in the mornings. I just hate the thought of putting him away dirty!
