If someone you knew was bringing on a young horse and not making a very good job of it?

Someone I know has a horse to bring on, and I am a little worried about the horse. She rides with a very tight rein all the time, and he seems to be getting very resistant to it. He threw her a few times early on, and I think she feels she needs to hold his head in so he doesn't buck. It's not how she generally rides. Would you say anything, and if so, what? She's not someone who responds well to being told what to do.....

Who is it ,I'll tell them, lol.
No, it is difficult, try to say you have heard really good reports about [think of a good local instructor] and you wouldn't mind some lessons ,maybe she will also be interested, or encourage her to do some dressage and the judge will maybe mark her down and give some pointers
