Just as the header says really, what would you pay for the following:

Grazing, stable, unlimited hay and straw, 2 good feeds a day (good food, not just chaff and pony nuts) no school use but direct access to bridleways, and tea coffee facilities!

Freind is looking into going onto a yard as above and wondered what the going rate for this would be? Thanks

yes 50 a week!! bloody cheap scate liveries! livery yards have increased lecic, water, hay, straw, feed(omg its gone up loads) fuel prices to contend with. aswell as fertilising fields, maintenance, rates, insurance etc etc etc!!

i presume its less(from your reaction), and suppose im assuming the stables and fields are well set out and in good order at tht price.

im not sure of the set up but she has been qouted £35 a wk! im shocked due to the fact that i have not been on a livery yard ever, im very lucky to have my two at home, and would never consider having livery's myself. Interesting prices though and could see why it would be that amount, due to obviuosly buying my own hay straw and feed,

fair nuf, but the price isnt just simply for what goes in the horses mouth, it needs to cover the yards fixed costs and maintenance, and after a 'thing' with livery today was little over touchy!sorry!lol

I was quoted £35 for the same thing which i thought was very good- only problem was the stables were a bit small i thought and then found a farm very close to work which used to be a livery yd and so had stacks of stables free for £75 pcm they supply hay and straw for extra if required
