what would you feed for runnie

poo. we feed nuts chaff and halage any ideas what will make it harder is there a supplement i cud try

Try either natural yoghurt or 1 yakult a day in the feed. Works wonders and is alot cheaper!

Is it an old pony and is it very runny poo? Have you tried Naf pink powder? It is a digestive aid and is pretty good. You can either get 'pink powder' from your vet or I think you can buy tubs from equine stockists. It does work but would suggest consult vet about cause for the runniness maybe first.

Lyric was always very loose until I put her onto magnesium. I didnt really think about it until I ran out and it went back to being loose but then firmed up again as soon as she was put back on it. I remember thinking it was strange because too much magnesium makes them sloppy but it may be worth a try.
