What would you think of this for a show hunter?

when i get my horse when I graduate I want a horse that will be a good quality MW (preferably) show hunter....... but I also enjoy dressage alot and like going jumping and xc for fun (although I like working hunter classes too!)

I saw this chap and thought wow! but not sure he would fit the bill for my showing prospects (id like to do county level, maybe higher if the horse is good enough!) .........
what do you think?

Top one on county level show horses.
and i also like the grey warmblood just below him........
I really like the heavyweight show cob just below that too, but not sure if id be able to do the "all rounder" extra bits that I want to do with him.......

Its not for now as I have a year still to wait, but I like window shopping for future references!

He is gorgeous! I'm not experienced with showing at all but my first thoughts are i'm not sure he'd make county level showing but could do very well in dressage and i'm sure he'd be capable of some jumping.

The warmblood i'd like for eventing and the show cob would be my choice if I wanted to mainly do showing. That one doesnt mention jumping so maybe they dont do much of that with him.

Ye I agree.
I think the First black one is stunning but definetly more angled for dressage with a bit of showing (rather than other way round!)
The grey warmblood I think would be the best for all rounders, just not sure if he'd be up to scratch for county level showing.

Cobster Im pretty sure would be, but as you say, could be the allrounder bit that might be the issue!

Do horses like what im looking for exist do you htink?

i don't think the warmblood is likely to make a great County show horse simply as his movement isn't really suited to the show ring.

Yup horses like you are after definitetly do exist

i have one:) he is a L/W hunter very successful on the county circuit been to hoys etc he has also won the riding clubs nationals dressage and we compete successfully at elem level and he has evented up to PN level and is also a perfect gent to hunt

he is a true all rounder.

About how much did you have to pay for him though (if you don't mind me asking?) as those which do seem up to par (in my opinion) seem to be very expensive.... or too old..... (as I am hoping to get a 6-8yo and the ones I see seem to be about 12yo)
