I've got a WoW saddle I'm considering selling to pay for part of a new one but I don't know what tree I have. It's from 2010 and I don't know if at that point there was only one kind of tree shape made.
The rest of the saddle is a size 2 DWG panel with stitchline and tab. Dressage flaps with moveable blocks and 3 different sized shape blocks. The tree is leather with model number 6218 on it. Does anyone know?
I've contacted WoW themselves, but haven't heard back yet.

. It could be flat or curved y bar and one of several different shapes, including flat, event, deep and shallow.

If you put up some pictures we can probably work it out if WOW don't answer you. Flat or curved y bar will need a side on picture of it without the panels to be sure.

It's a size 2 extra deep dressage seat. It's only the curve I can't figure out.

Looks normal curved to me. Flat look a lot flatter.

It's in good condition, I hope you get a good price for it. It might fetch more if you can wait until spring.

Thank you both for your replies. I'm sure they'll get back to me on Monday.
I'm pretty sure it was made in 2010. The tree number is 6128, not 6218 like I wrote in a previous message.

What is the weight difference between the new saddles and these older ones? My WoW saddle is easily the heaviest saddle I've ever had and has been an issue at times as I'm only 5'2" and my main horse is 17hh. My new horse is a 15hh lusitano mare and since she's only 5 years old and just green broke a WoW will be ideal considering how much she will fill out and grow when she really gets into full time work.

Plastic seats are a lot lighter. I have a size two deep in almost mint condition for sale for £450 if it would suit you?

For my new horse I'm not sure. I just tried the saddle gauge today and I'm pretty sure I need a flat tree. There was just too much rock for my liking in the semi curved. If anything her back will likely get less curvy when she's in full work.

Have you used the saddle gauge?

No, I fit by sight and feel, I've never used the gauge. I generally use a gullet one bigger than the gauge would say because I find the horses prefer it.
