Well its raining here (drizzly old devon) so went to the field this morning...
Let the ponies out into the main field for some grass while I poo picked in the rain..
Put some hay in the shelter for them incase they actually go inside it rather than hover outside...
Checked the water..trapzed up the hill where they always run off to when they get let out..
put them back in paddock and came home and vegetated ever since :D
Going to tidy my room a bit this afternoon before I go back down.

Then roast at tea time and sit down to watch the queens horse programme :)

Mucked out at 6am and then took my lorry on a 200 mile round trip to pick up a..............................

MOTORBIKE! Lorry drove beautifully and the bike didn't move a tyre on the way home.;)

I'm on call (vet nurse) so currently under the duvet with the cat asleep on it!!

Watching the Thames pageant and then watching the horse one later, got it record too in case I get called out xx

I am in drizzly Devon too! Although it seems to have stopped for the time being. As decided to give the show a miss today i thought i would do a much needed job and I've been down in the woods slashing brambles on the paths all morning, i'm now completely pooped. Just come in for a cup of tea before I drag myself back out to get the Ned in and give him some work :)

Wet hack in the rain and hail this morning. Spending the afternoon under a duvet trying to get warm and hoepfully have a kip before night shift tonight :( lovely friend turning horse out for me later so no need to trek down to the yard again x

Sorted horses at 8 this morning, got them in , rain falling like stairsrods here in Wales, was off to a show with big boy, but got no studs, and he would slip all over place, so left them in with cooler rugs on to dry off, then Hayed and watered them and went home for a bit and watching queen . Mate sorts at lunch then they can go out at 6 with rain sheets on . Bolsworth castle show Monday, may stop raining by then!!!.

Spent a while at the yard this morning (in the drizzle) and then had a brilliant lesson! H is such a star nowadays :D Came home to watch the boats and get warm!

By the way - WHAT Queen's horse programme, please?

We went to The Blue Lights Horse show at Aintree and my little mare and OH came 1st in the 2"6 class, soo proud as its her 1st ever 1st show jumping with us :D

Hunkering down mostly, as its persisting it down here, although have just taken mum to town and I also have a newly clipped, unrugged critter in the field at the mo who I really should go and 'rescue' - terrible mothering.

I took my 3yo to her first show this morning, just did a couple of classes cos the weather was pretty rubbish and I never like to do too much with a youngster anyway. She squealed rather a lot but she is quite vocal at home so I was sort of expecting that but overall she behaved pretty well and she got a 2nd and a 4th :)

Had a nice hack in the sun - not raining here for a change. Neds now happily grazing. Did some tidying and weeding. Going to watch the queen's horse thing later - saw the real thing at Windsor a few weeks ago and it is worth watching.

Mucked out, poo picked in drizzle with no coat (I thought Devon was sunny) and just been to the shop for a kitkat and redbull as I was bored watching the Pageant.. OH likes boats.. Came back and he's watching Glee.. Quiet day at home with the cats and horses.. And OH I guess!
