Have used them for years with no problems but my last order was over 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it. Lots of angry reviews recently on the internet too...

Anyone know what's going on? Luckily I bought through PayPal so i can get refunded without much drama, but annoyed as i could have bought elsewhere and had my items by now!

I've ordered twice in the past couple of months with zero issues, even got a free hoof pick in one of my orders. I've never had an issue with them at all over the past 5+ years :)

I've been waiting ages for my order. I received two emails 10 days apart saying they had shipped my order. I just got an email from dpd saying my order is on the way. I'm not happy, I have a show on Sunday a I need some of the order for that.

I dont want to be starting rumors but im suspecting issues with snuggy hoods.
They have had far to many sales lately and ive read issue with orders being delayed.
Hopefully its just a glitch.

Friend had massive issues with them, placed a large order and all she recieved after 6 weeks was a pair of socks she had ordered (saddlecloths, tops, horse boots in the order). Took much wrangling to get a refund and they admitted that the items they had shown as in stock weren't...

I ordered a rug from them recently, usually their goods arrive within two days but it took nearly three weeks and I had to chase constantly

I had the same issue when I ordered something as a gift. After 10 days it hadn't arrived and when I queried it I received a terse reply saying they had stock issues and they'd send it out when they more stock. I waited another 5 days and then cancelled the order. They refunded the same day but I never got a reply from them let alone an apology.

Why companies think it's ok to accept an order and take the customers money when they don't have the stock?? This is exactly what happened when DH went very downhill.

Sister put in an order a couple of days ago and found that "customer collection" wasn't a delivery option as it usually is. We live so near to EC that it always much easier and cheaper to collect. We shall see what happens...........

I placed an order about a month ago, and cancel did after 10 days as I hadn't heard anything.

The refund went through straightaway, but normally they've dispatched really quickly in the past.

I can't either, I was a bit suspicious when they sent out that email about the Wintec saddles selling massively cheaply, almost seems like they are winding the company down.

I ordered one. They didnt process it as apparently the details on paypal and my delivery address were different. They werent! I managed to sort that out via email, and she confirmed my order would be processed but the payment is still showing as pending. I dont think I'll be getting the saddle and have started looking elsewhere

I ordered from them recently. I needed to make an addition to the order and they were really quick to correspond. I called and paid the extra money the next day but they couldn't tell me when the order was going to be dispatched which seemed odd. 13 days later my order was dispatched. Slightly irritatingly one of the items isn't as expected but as it's a curry comb I can't be bothered to send it back. I can't say I've ever had prompt delivery from them so didn't notice anything particularly unusual this time round!

Sports Direct own both Robinsons & Equestrian Clearance so that will answer why buyers are having issues.

didnt know that, thats a shame but explains a lot, another one to put on my not to buy from list ! is that a recent thing as ive brought from them for years and never had problems until january this year when an order took about a month to arrive and came with a 'sorry for the delay 10% off your next order' note. i havent used it ! i cant get on the website currently either.

I don't know exactly when they took over the companies but you can guarantee that they will use the same philosophy as they do with Sprtts Direct. They will buy well known equestrian brand names & then manufacture equestrian stuff cheaply but market it under their newly acquired equestrian brands. They'll do well initially doing this but gradually customers will realise that the quality they have bought will be nothing like they bought with that brand name years ago. They did this with Dunlop, Slazenger, Donnay, Lonsdale etc, the brands were well known years ago & they were quality items but now they are cheaply manufactured tat. :(

Just saw this post. I've discovered their site about a month ago and was immediately drawn to their prices!
Only first they had a problem with my address, so I had to clarify. Now I am waiting patiently and it has been a couple of weeks.
Suppose their glitch hasn't cleared?

What a shame!! I refuse to go near Robinsons anymore, even though there is a store close to us! They're a disgrace at the moment - never have anything in stock and their staff are rude and unhelpful.

No idea what's going on now. I ordered a saddlepad that was half price, this was three weeks ago. Never recieved a confirmation email so had to chase them about that. Then they said it would be with me within 3 working days. Still no parcel today and I'm pretty annoyed. I always found them to be reliable and helpful, with low prices for good measure. I guess this is another retailer I won't use again. Haven't touched Robinsons since they became sports direct so no idea where I'll shop now :(

The saddle did turn up, but they messed me about over the address and delivery etc. They were taking orders long before the saddles came in stock. Mines gone back so lets see how long the refund takes!

Did Sports Direct Buy Equestrian clearance? If so I'm highly disappointed cos they were one of the few good ones. If its true I'll be adding them to the no go list :(

I've been ordering from them over last couple of weeks and had no issues?

But I have chosen items that are showing as available for next day delivery so in theory are in stock. Maybe issues are where they've been waiting for stock to come in before dispatching?
