whats going on in Standerwick?

I am due to move my horses to a new yard in Standerwick, near Frome, this weekend, and went there yesterday to check over the stable doors. My groom is supposed to go there to live on site and on Thursday we moved the majority of my "things" (rugs, bandages, boots, medical kit, more rugs, household stuff for groom, spare tack, numnahs and fluff pads...you get the idea) there. When we got the yesterday police were there and said the whole yard was closed off; today I have heard there is a police boundary covering around a mile radius of the yard? I misheard the woman's first name originally and only found out this week what her name is. I'm getting very worried about what's going on, and where in hell I'm going to take my horses this weekend as I can't stay where I am? Any ideas, anyone?

Oh, I'm very local to Staderwick and I've not heard anything. Are you local to the area?

Ish - in Bath, however I have now found out what it is all linked to so am no longer moving my horses. It was near Dilton Marsh

That yard it a well known "no go" area around here...

Yes....I'm just glad I found out BEFORE I moved my horses and groom there! (Well, groom sounds a bit posh...but she was supposed to live on site so it's a lucky escape!) I will PM you...
