What's going on?

Firstly: Everyone's different, when we hit bad moods, or get unreasonable, it's for different reasons, not the same, corporate one. I'm sure the bad weather is making a lot of people grumpy, money worries, colds, flu (and the treatments thereof ;) )
You know, it's like how you feel like sticking two fingers up at the fifteenth driver to splash you driving through the same damn puddle, but guess what, they didn't do it fifteen times! They just did it the once, the same as the other fourteen.

Secondly - This thread is just as bad! 'They' say this and 'They' do that! A lot of assumptions being made about these dreadful people who make assumptions about people.
If the worst you ever get called is a Bunny Hugger, I think maybe you'll live. I've been called worse, and am no doubt about to be again!

Thirdly -If there's one thing worse than a few independently snotty posters it's someone doing the whole board police thing. The OP admits she doesn't post often, but will make and exception to slap a few wrists! There, that will teach you all, now play quietly and nanny won't have to tell you again. :)

Fourthly - I'm sorry, some of the people 'trying to be funny' ARE being VERY funny, it's not their fault if other people are feeling sanctimonious and sniffy. Some of the comments on here make me HOWL with laughter. Who said 'it depends on your stocking rate' on that sock thread the other night? That was one of the funniest things, EVER.

Fifthly - One man's plain talking is another person's rudeness. Confuscious he say. People are different, it's only a blooming message board.

Sixthly - Live long and prosper. Happy Christmas. Worse things happen at sea. Etc.

er... what ^^ this says is about what I would have typed, but S_A has said it far more eloquently that I ever could!

There really isn't an excuse.

I'm 16 (instantly targetable on the "you know nothing scale"), just lost my job, have to go back hell (school), I'm ill a lot of the time and don't cope well with the cold.

I'm straight talking but i show at least a tiny bit of sympathy to those who deserve it (some people really are just stupid -.-)
I'd just say a lot of people on here are just..well, horse women. Or have PMS. Both as bad as each other.

I have to admit, I have needed some advice on a few occasions now but been too scared to ask because som any people on here basically laugh if you ask a ''stupid question'', puts me straight off posting up!

and that is such a shame for the horses everyone here is supposed to care about - i cannot believe the blatant rudeness of some people - not all, some are wonderful - but it takes just one bad apple to spoil a whole bag

Sorry, I just think this is over reacting.

If you need advice, you ask. Someone will help you. If you desperately need help for these horses that you care so much about, you ask! So what if someone you will never see, never have to face, and can in fact, if you like, block (THAT would be a good trick in real life!) takes the P? You ignore them because someone else will give you the advice you need.

In this world, you get a few knocks. There are few places they hurt LESS than on a message board, surely?

How was your head this morning NM? As for blatant rudeness you must have imbibed too much to remember your rudeness and language last night! No wonder you are a bit confused, I was also confused trying to understand your posts. Oh and I was sober.

No one on here is ever really rude, even the trolls are just funny. How do all the sensitive people cope in the real world, especially the horse world?

Straight talking and rudness are to people different things, and yes you do get the fluffy bunnies and others how they see life. Owning animals is in oneway a life learning curve, whether horses, dogs, cats, pigs ,cows, alpacs etc:- We each have our own way of teaching, riding training:- Some say noway and others teach me more. I've been told I've been nasty, rude, but to me a person has asked a question and I've always answered, how I would have or have dealt with the problem, and mostly it is the rider/owner that has caused the problem in the first.

very bitchy this forum is...my friend who buys n sells a couple of horses has asked to be removed off here due to the nastiness of some of the people on here.

And lets not forget that YOU have posted some of the most nasty comments seen on this forum for a long time. As for your 'friend', you are one and the same person, Ted's Mum.

Your front in coming on here and posting that you had asked to be removed, when you were clearly banned, and have been again, well, it makes me sick, completely.

Your comments to another member about the ordeal that she had endured will stick in many people's memories as one of the worst occurances EVER on this forum.

I hope you never come back, ever.

I'm sorry you feel like this but what you have to remember is that most, if not all, posters on here don't know you. Do you care that much what a bunch of strangers think?

There are stupid questions and there are STUPID questions! The questions that tend to irritate people are where people are putting their horse at risk or lack even the most basic horse care knowledge.

Happy question asking :D

Ive been a member for a few years now, used to post a lot but now I mainly just browse for fear of being slated or ignored.
This forum gave me moral support when my horse broke his leg, helped me with travelling issues and gave loads of advice when wanting to buy a lorry, plus loads more.
I agree 'whats going on'
Yes it does make for some interesting reading all the squabbling but sometimes enoughs enough.
Ive been in two minds whether to post this for fear of being told, well if you dont like it, dont post.
Ah well, maybe after xmas, things will calm down a bit :)
Runs off to hide under a stone :)
