Just got my first trailer so getting some things together to remain in the tow vehicle.
First aid kit to consist of
Vetraps, gamgees, bandages, hoof pick, scissors, sterile pads, anything else?
No idea what to have in the tool kit, can some one help me out?
Thanks!

We have pack of aspirin, pack of ibuprofen, miniature of brandy, rescue remedy, strong sharp knife, bottle opener, 2l bottle of water + plastic mugs, battery booster, bungees, binder twine, screwdrivers, bar of chocolate, purple spray, roll of plaster, pack of mints, reflective warning triangle, lantern torch. Loads of other stuff I cant' remember at the moment!

We have sterile water spray to squirt on to wounds, cotton wool, scissors, honey and cod liver oil tulle dressings, gamgee, sticky bandages, wound gel, tweezers and a roll of sterile tape. We also keep some nappies in as they act as temporary wound dressings or are good for foot punctures.
Human kit has usual stuff and has been substituted from the horse one when needed..
Vital medecines always in that are are diaorrhea stop tablets, ibuprofen and paracetamol, plasters, eye wash and spare ST's.

Laughed at your kit, your fags...
I am afraid I am one of those irritating people who think of all eventualities prior to going anywhere, even my car contains a box which has everything from a complete make up bag to a change of clothes! (and a spare coat, shoes, book to read, rubbish bags, air freshener spray, loo roll etc)
I'v got more obsessive as I've got older, but I reckon we and the horses could live in the box happily for a few days without any help if we broke down..
