we have one of the following depending on what's around...
homemade sloe gin
homemade bramble gin
Rubis (a chocolate infused port)
Chestnut Liqueur
Tawny Port

the chestnut liqueur is only for opening meet, boxing day and closing meet though as its quite expensive! but it is fab - smells like whisky, and the inital taste is like good port, and the after taste is nutty chestnut... mmmmm

We have home made Damson Gin, Blackberry Vodka or Raspberry Vodka. Although I would love to drink the flask dry out hunting, I then need a wee!!!! And then I cant get back on or hands too cold to pull knickers and johdpurs up! So although I have a sip I do share it out amongst others. What is Percy special k9h

I'm very excited, i've just found my dads old hip flask attaching the saddle, its huuuuuuuuge!!! I'm going to ignore the "not very ladylike etiquette!" ;-))

What is Percy special k9h

It was invented by the Duke of Northumberland who use to hunt hounds (not the present Duke!).

It is 2 whisky to 1 Cherry Herring brandy (thats the proper brandy to make it witrh).
As C_Claire mentioned it is darn leathal stuff you do not want more than 3 or you generaly do not keep contact with your horse.

But by god is it lovely & warming!

Saddly I am just the maker & supplier of hipflasks on a days hunting & I drive I tend not to drink mine, bar today I hit the deck so had a sip! ;)

Surely you didn't part company with the delectable Declan did you?
I have my first day out on Saturday, so excited as it should be a decent jumping day! Hopefully no deck hitting for me!

Wasn't on the supper star Bog Tank Declan today!

Who you going out with on Sat?

Another jumping juice fan......yum yum.

Personal favorite is damson or sloe gin, though did get given Ribena and vodka once, which was enlightening LOL
