I plait for people at shows so mine is quite comprehensive
Reels of Black, Brown & White linen thread.
10 Saddlery Quilting needles wrapped in oiled felt, these I've had for about 30 years.
A piece of fine emery paper to remove any rust from the needles.
Plaiting bands of different colours
A de-lousing comb cut to the length of plaits I like to do
A dog grooming comb for pulling odd hairs
A shoe brush for damping mane
A large bull dog clip for holding back the mane
Hair spray
A thin piece of nylon covered cord for the forelock, a longer piece for tails.
Snips
A stitch Ripper 'Quick Unpick'
Battery operated clippers for bridle path
Pocket Pro clippers for those tricky spots
A large pair of scissors for tails
Horse razor
A boot lace
A small bucket with lid
A Step stool
All the little bits are kept in Travel soap boxes
All kept in a transparent back pack that used to have a kids grooming kit in it.
And my bicycle! Used at shows to get around the competitors.
