Getting abit ahead of myself here but might be moving to Nottingham in septmeber with my horse. I have always kept my horses at home so no experience of prices ect.

There are quite a few good liveries in Nottingham, the outskirts of the city are very rural. Pricewise, its like anywhere, you can pay a lot for a top yard £100pw), or next to nothing for a poor yard (£15); with a wide range in the middle!

Oooo completely random but you'll be near me...come ride Molly if you do! Hehe..thought i'd fit that in somewhere...

Im on the Notts/Derbys border and it costs £25 a week for stable and turnout, with menage and good hacking.

Do you know whereabouts in Nottingham? I keep mine just out of Nottingham just off Junc 25 and i pay £17.50pw foe DIY, that includes stable, grazing, menage, fields to ride in in summer. Hay straw and feed extra but all on your doorstep (saddlery). In winter it is alternate days turnout and we have unlimited haylage for £6pw for horses £4pw for ponies.
