I have been given my Christmas list deadline by my far too organised mum (tomorrow!!!) so thought I would start one of my favourite posts to see what everyone else is hoping for and also get some last minute inspiration!!!

So far on my draft list I have:- (Dear Father Christmas etc etc..) :D

- Brown leather headcollar (Remy broke his at Hutton! Brand suggestions welcome!)
- Jeffries Wembley Rubber Reins (anyone got these/recommend them - they look/feel great!?)
- MacWet gloves (have not had these before but hear good things!)
- Caldene Prestige Hat (MATCHERS - I love the Navy version but don't think it will go with my grey tweed jacket?? Agree?)
- Some nice stable leg wraps or something for keeping legs warm on cold nights. (Suggestions v welcome - I may need 2 sets so economic options also v welcome!!)

As my sister got a return airfare to Shanghai for her Xmas Prezzie... what do you think are my chances of getting all of these items?? YEAH RIGHT!!!!! :D:D

(Post also in CR)

A new Ned :D:D:D:D off to the top of the Country next week to look at one belonging to a HHOer, very excited if all goes well will have a new Ned in the stable for Christmas!

Sad act that I am I have asked for the money to register and passport/chip my filly and start her vacinations, hubby as agreed and I know he will feel sorry for me and buy me other stuff too.:p

Not a lot really and definitely not exciting - a headtorch to replace the two that I've either lost or broken recently (but I'll probably buy one before it gets to Christmas!) and a pair of Libby's webbing reins (my favourites for endurance rides).

A new bridle! After many years of service, mine is on it's last legs :o

I'm looking for a hunter bridle, with a padded headpiece, in brown, that doesn't cost £££...finding santa would prove easier!

Other than that, just looking forward to an entire week (a whole week, that's 7 whole days!) off work :D

ETA Hels_Bells, I love the fact that you have a draft list, lol :)

Clever move Snoopster - I was thinking similar with a 5 Stage Vetting I need doing, but grandparents usually give me some cash so thinking I'll be selfish with my parent presents!!!! :D

Faro - I am on my first head torch of the year... will see how it goes!!! P.s. I have just read your signature and it almost made me cry!!!! Awww bless you!!

Thanks FbT - the draft is typed, prioritised with guide prices and links to where to find the products. And my mum is the organised one??!!!! :D

A nice set of thermatex Leg wraps,
A shiny new set of show jumps for my field,
A posh leather headcollar for Starla,
and A new ball for Brodie to play with...

Thats the Christmas list I gave to santa/OH :)

You should see my 16 year old daughter's list.
OMG how much money does she think I have?
Cheapest item I think is about €45.
Needless to say she was told that her list was only possible if we won the lottery. We will try and get her a couple of items but she has very expensive tastes.

Um I have nothing on mine :(:D
Really want a pair of ariat grasmeres but we`re moving 18th December and its going to cost a fortune to get everything sorted...
My mum will buy me lots of non horsey things though...

Not going to ask for much :D
Just a pair of premier equine stable leg wraps,
Nice leather headcollar and lead rope for special occasions
and a showing bridle/browband for ROR classes :D Saddle will be nice too..

Wow lochpearl - stunning easter present!

My list:-
New saddlecloth
New winter jacket for riding in - waterproof, warm, and long enough to cover my bum with a drawstring - I'll be damned if I can find one which doesnt cost the earth!
New combo stable rug..am currently liking a decathlon one :o it has pretty patterns and a fleecy neck!
Some decent gloves..sealskinz or something.
I could probably carry on..but it just gets more expensive!

In reality I probably dont actually NEED any of these, would be much better receiving money so that I can repair the rugs I have, and pay the latest vet bill, not to mention the farrier and livery bills...

Ah but presents you buy yourself are always what you want....... :-) just wish he came with all the rugs he has modelled for them lol

Jodhpurs! I'm on my last pair and even they are starting to go threadbare! Fed up of riding in jeans now.

New jod boots, mine have well and truly had it and have worn so thin at the sole that I can't walk over gravel in them without limping.

What I'd really really like is a lovely new saddle and bridle, but unfortunately I don't know anyone rich enough to treat me... :(

A Horsebox A forty acre farm with menage, indoor school and pot and rail fencing.
A groom and gardener and cleaner.
A large cheque to deposit to keep it all running
oh,and I believe in Father Christmas.

The only horsey things on my wish list this year are a Rambo Duo turnout rug and a new head collar and leaprope that I spotted online and thought was lovely.

I did want a new heavyweight full neck stable rug that I had my eye on for a a little while but I ended up buying it last week as found it online in her size for a very good one off good price :)

Tekna Dressage Saddle in a 17.5" M in black or donations towards said saddle...

Am hoping OH twigged on to the fact we kept hovverins around the stand at YHL!

And a pink sheep fleecy stable head and neck snuggy hood (just to annoy Mr P!)
