whats the best anti theft for rugs

Get a big marker pen and deface them as much as possible with things like the field/yard postcode and other information.

Write your name/postcode/yard name on them in marker, if light rugs or tippex if dark.

White paint in big letters....postcode down both sides.

You need to make the rug unsaleable and obvious which is a bugger for you but a great deterrant for thieves.

Spray Paint! It will damage resale costs for you, but if they are defaced then who would want to steal them?

My friend has to padlock her rugs onto her horse as the travellers keep nicking them. She just gets little combination padlocks and locks the front of them. She tried large writing on them but it didn't work, the padlocks seem to work though.

LMAO can you imagine them cursing trying to get the bloody things off, would love to be a fly on the wall!!

We padlocked one onto a sick mare, four little padlocks. Buggars still stole the rug, padlocks and all. We now use paint that cannot be removed and paint their Freezemark all over the rug.
