I currently use 100grms of fast fibre (before adding water) and a handful of hifi lite to add my prohoof too once a day, in the morning before being turned out. I've nearly finished a bag should I keep using it or is there something better I should use. He's a 6 on the condition score (out of 10) so nothing too calorific. I was wondering if speedi beet was better or other food stuff for native types....

I dont have any advice but you have asked a question I am interested in so hope you dont mind if I add a question?? I struggle to get my cob mare to eat her supplements in the summer so I too am looking for something tasty to mix them with that isnt full of sugar or other unecessary stuff?

Speedibeet (and similar products) have a much higher energy content than fast fibre, so I'd stick with that if you're counting the calories ;)

I use HiFI lite molasses free and 220 grammes bruised oats ( that's what goes in the plastic mug I use) it works well but not sure how to get more mag oxide down them as I what to up it and they are not keen on it.

Ok so probably will just keep going with Tue fast fibre, although it contains starch which speedibeet doesn't have. I wasn't sure what was better digestable energy or starch?
