Just brought an ex p2p.Which is the best feed to have that works well as a calmer?

Only ever had horses that needed energy so havent got a clue where to start!

I have used Naf magic to good effect, but its herbal and sometimes they don't like the taste. Top Spec calmer is good as well. These are additives though.

I used to use Spillers Cool Cubes, but, typically, they don't make those any more. they DO do Cool mix though. If you want a mix, that;'s pretty good stuff.

I've been using NAF Five Start Magic since mid-July, and Ali seemed to be a lot more relaxed when I was warming him up at a DI events 10 days after I started to use it. I have to say I'm not certain whether that was due to the heat or due to the calmer though tbh!

He coped well when I brought him to a busy yard for 3 days for dressage training - He usually gets quite stressy when he's in a different environment! I do believe that the calmer did make a difference in this situation. He's much calmer and focused when I'm schooling him and hacking him out now, although he's still full of energy and it hasn't completely taken the edge off him!

It has definitely helped Ali. It doesn't completely take "the edge" off him, but it does make him much more focused

I feed one measure a day (I add half in the morning and half in the evening into his feed) but on the night before a show/"stressy situation" and on the morning of an event/"stressy situation" I double this

NAF Magic is good & worked on my ISH but didn't make a difference to my Wb.

He is now on Nupafeed & the difference is incredible!
