What's the best Horsey Christmas present you've recieved?

My ifor Williams trailer :) I was very lucky that year!
Otherwise when I was like 10 I got a pair of the flappy petal over reach boots which were the best thing ever back then :p
I love getting anything horsey really haha :)

My mum got me some thermals, nt the most exciting, didn't realise ho much id love them... Wouldn't be without, been amazing cos I'm a blinking wimp when it comes to cold.

Have had other more exciting bits tho, but these are the ones that have had the most use... :o

Oh and a friend got me horsey cushions when I moved into my new flat. Love those :)

This year mummy has said I can have a new jump saddle :) the one I have is a dressage one, an will be an Albion, so that's pretty darn amazing of her :D

The horse itself !

I don't really get anything horsey now, I buy it all myself. My parents and family still refuse to buy anything for the horses, my mother will buy a rug though if that's what I want/the horse needs.

Best birthday present was a set of pink polo bandages (had wanted them for so long, it's sad I only got them after 10 years of waiting !) + TO rug.

Best Christmas present was probably a swarvoski crystal browband a few years ago (is still on my bridle and totally stunning!) + leather headcollar a few years later.

Horse wise I have asked for a stable rug + breeches this year.

My OH totally spoils me and my horse all year round and bought me a mega expensive sheepskin back pad + saddle cloth (that was 70 quid ! but totally stunning) + pikeur breeches + over reach boots for my birthday last week. He also buys me pretty much whatever I like when we do step foot in a tack shop although with the nearest one being 2 hours away we never have time to go, luckily for us both !

So best presents are probably from him but that's because I choose them myself lol He did once buy me a really nice pink saddle cloth with baby blue binding though, has been on my gelding twice.

My brother bought me some Roekl (?sp) gloves and wrapped a carrot in them. Really sweet as he is completely non horsey and had facebook stalked a friend of mine who found out my size :)

the little chap on the right! Love my husband!!

My young TB mare Jasmine! She was born on Christmas Day 2006, the surprise 'love child' of a mare I rescued on her way to the meat man. My vet had estimated her foaling in late Jan/Feb and we arrived to feed on Christmas morning to find Jasmine in situ and spent the day sitting in the straw gazing at a perfect jet black filly foal :)
Definitely my best horsey gift! :D

Oh bought me a pair of country boots with laces up the outside by hkm first horsey gift ever last Xmas and I loved them. Someone stole them when we got broken into couple months ago. I replaced the rugs but not yet the boots. Ordered pair from a lady I found on eBay worsley equine but not through eBay anyway 7 week later still not here and can't get her to refund. I suffer with twisted ligaments so wrong boots are very painful. I was even more upset as they felt to me like oh accepting my horses fully then they got nicked then I got taken advantage of. :(

It would either be the yard brush, bought for me by somebody I worked with as we had a major lack of decent brooms, or my flexi stirrup irons. Both very practical, used almost daily, (more so the broom than the stirrups due to accident prone horse) and both still going strong 4-5 years later.
