What's the going rate for someone to exercise your horse. I am thinking lunging twice a week incorporating pole exercises and possibly moving on to ridden work if the person is suitable?

My horse is safe and sane just a bit green when ridden but not at all nasty.

Depends if you just want them exercised or well schooled. I pay £10 per hour to someone who is at the yard (so no travel involved for her), and she usually does 1 hour or 1.5 hour sessions during the week, 3 times. For a locking stifle mine needs lots of hacking up hills and trot work, and I don't need a really good pro for this. I think a professional rider who could school the horse well would be more like £15. If you expect someone to travel to you, they will have to factor in their travel time and petrol so it might not be cheap. Is there anyone on site that could do it?

Between £10 to £20 for advanced/psg level rider.....for however long the horse needs and any exercise you want.
