Debates have been going round my horsey friends whether fending for yourself in a field is any better than joining a DIY yard. As I have always fended for myself in my own field and heard a lot about bitching in many yards, am not sure whether I would cope :-). But I then struggle for all weather riding and just found that a local farm has just changed hands and they don't want horses on their land so that now leaves me with one ride which involves village only riding as my field is surrounded by their fields . Just wanted to know of people's opinions.

Hi Vikki, There are a couple of spaces at my yard but it is a bit further afield from where you are now! The hacking is fab :)

ETA there are only 3 liveries there and the YO, very small and easy going!

Our's is the nicest, friendliest yard in east Northamptonshire and I have been on a few although not DIY minimum is assisted DIY. I have contacted you about it before but it's too far from you and there is actually a waiting list!
