What's the norm? 14mm or 16mm mouth piece?!

I know 2mm isn't a huge difference but I'm about to order a neue schule bit for my horse (been talking about doing it for ages and finally got around to it!). I want a hanging cheek lozenge and I'm confused as to which to get, also confused about the difference between the training bit and the normal one? They look the same? What's the "normal" size for a mouth piece?

16 mm would be the norm. the 14mm ones really are quite thin, so unless you are looking for a very thin mouthpiece then go 16mm.
