We need to get our flu vaccinations done to compete at a certain venue that it is compulsory at.

Can anyone recommend the safest one to have?

I believe i have been told that the non combined one is best?

We basially just want the easiest safest thing so we comply with the rules without risking complications.

Thanks

most vet preactices will have their 'favourites' - We generally dont ask, just make sure the stamp in the passport is in the right spot!

I would honestly say, the most effective is the one thats applied correctly!
Ring the vet and have a chat.
You might find that if your not vaccinated currently then you will need a series of jabs over the next 90? days to be able to compete

My mare had several bad reactions to the flu jab. This year she had ProteqFlu-Te (combined flu/tet) with Flunexin a strong analgesic to lessen any possible reaction. She was fine.

My vet always jabs the chest rather than the neck to avoid trouble.

Looking at her passport it was Equip F that gave her the bad reaction in previous years.
