I've had my loan since January and he had Tildren last June and November. Since then he has seemed fine and we do a bit of hacking and a few ODE (only 70cm) His owner thinks he may need some more tildren and has offered to pay but I'm not sure he needs it. He is very lazy and doesn't work through the back very well unless he is in an exciting competition atmosphere and I think she is mistaking laziness for stiffness. I did a dressage test 2 weeks ago and got 71.5% and a nice paces comment and tonight we did some xc practise and he was popping 2'10 from a trot. He can also seriously up the pace if a stubble field is involved....
I adore this horse and want the best for him so would appreciate advise on when to ask the vet to do more.

Tildren is quite a risky drug to use, i would be very wary of giving to much, have new x rays been taken that show changes ? Does the owner of the horse understand how drugs work at all, and should be used only when nessacery ? I think if the horse was in pain he would not be jumping, or getting those dressage marks. 3 treatments of tildren in less than 12 months can not be good, think of the stress caused to the horse
