Probably a really stupid question but I have seen a couple of adverts (one is Toggi) where the horse has what looks like an extra noseband much lower than the normal noseband. What is it?

If it is on polo ponies it will be a drop with a cavesson. they have to have the cavesson too for a standing martingale to attach to.

Oh yes-Kat B is right, it is worn by a lot of Polo Ponies.
