Rio isn't right. He's not lame, but just, odd.

The past few weeks i've noticed that he's very reluctant to bend left, and the past 4 days, his right hind has been almost giving way beneath him in trot- both ridden and on the lunge. Medum trot has gone and he's movement is very 'flat'. I've also noticed windgall type swelling on his right hind. Looking back on it, his half pass is much worse to the right, same with shoulder in, although this may be totally irrelevant!)

He's 15 now, schooling at adv medium, and eventing at 80/90 (he's not brave ;) )

Any on have any ideas? (Vet will be called first thing Monday morning to come and have a look!)

Could it be O/H tendon/tendon sheath injury. Bending to the left would be putting strain on the outside hind and that movement would hurt significantly. Also not being able to push from behind in medium trot would indicate this.

My horse has developed a 'hop' which you can see clearly on the right rein on a circle, it is the n/f that is affected.
