Rain all last week (ok, maybe the odd day of semi-sunshine...), and then this week suprise suprise more rain.
Tomorrow, rain in the morning and then some fool is going to turn up the thermostat so that Sunday will see temps of maybe 29 oC and by Monday? 32oC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No lead up just BANG have it!
Poor horses are going to melt.....literally!
Might have to take them all to the lake...

All this to-ing and fro-ing with the weather is making my head spin...

Fly rug, veil on

Fly rug, veil off...rainsheet on...rainsheet off...

OH FFS!!!!

I know! fly spray, fly cream, veil on and sun block on the nose, 20min after leaving the yard it pees it down! :(

I'm hoping that although it's going to be hot on Sunday and Monday it will cool down a bit before all my lovely grass turns brown

No, don't complain....we are suffering from last years dry spring by rising prices of the hay/haylage that's running out rapidly.
Hopefully this will boost this years crop so we won't have to pay the earth for forage next year!
And don't forget it affects prices of straw - and ultimately prices of feed, as most of that is made up of grains and grass/straw which are also suffering from the drought.
I do agree it is a bit upseydaisy but lets have more please, (preferably overnight!)
