I'm trying to keep her fit for a residential camp I've got planned in 2 weeks time! I've heard mares can be like this at a certain time of year when in season or something but I've never noticed it b4 in the 10 yrs I've owned her ... However I did remember today when brushing her that I pulled a tick out of her elbow about 2 weeks ago I deffo got the head out but could this b the cause what should I do now??

Ask for a copy of the full blood report for your records, and check exactly what was tested and whether anything was outside of the reference range quoted on the report.

In particular, I'd check what the result was for one of the main liver enzymes (GGT) and the main muscle enzyme (CK).

No idea re ticks, but worth a word with your vet I'm sure.
