Its really doing my head in all this selling a horse lark.

Roxy has been advertised for 2 week at 2000!!!!!! as i need her to go real quick, and i just keep getting numptys that want a ready made grand prix horse for that price!!

we didnt advertise her for more as she needs work, but you cant win because I think people think there must be something wrong with her to be selling her at £2000, but there isnt, I get the impression people always think you are trying to hide something, or rip them off

God talk about people wasting my time........

Yeah had that problem selling mine - advertised honestly as a good allrounder but needed some flatwork, and at a fair price for that, and everyone wanted a perfect horse with fab dressage! It wasn't bad [chestnut in signature] but needed some polishing. So annoying! if she was a champion she'd be a lot more money!

I just want a straight forward gelding within 50 miles of manchester airport can you do a sex change on yours please and I will have her. cant have anymore mares on our yard.

xspiralx you are too far away !

getting fed up now

I sold a 14.2hh Welsh D couple of years ago. 4 yo just backed and ridden away, was the sweetiest little mare and very well bred. I advertised at £1250 for a quick sale, I had loads of calls, 1st timers wanting her etc, told them not suitable as only just broken in (not good to have 2 novices together). A young girl came to view and was a good rider with a lady to help with schooling, they knocked me down to £1150 and I delivered. Then afterwards said they thought there was something wrong with her as she was so cheap (not sure why they knock price down)!!. Yes they had a bargin but I wanted to sell because the welsh sales were coming up and there was something else I wanted to buy. which I did buy!
I find the higher the price the better quality of people you get if that makes sense.
