What's Wrong With This Horse?

It just looks really.... strange in this pic? Is it the pic or does this horse really look like a giraffe with short legs and a daschound body?

I think it looks odd cos it's only 13hh and 3yrs old, to me it looks a bit croup high which isn't helping the situation and in some of the pictures it isn't standing square with the camera. That's what I think anyway

I was going to say, its croup high so it looks a bit weird. Bet it will look lovely in another couple of years with proper work/diet, etc.

Eh??? Can't see anthing wierd about said pony. I think it's belly's quite big and has a rather big bottom but I'm sure the rest of its body will catch up. nice head at least.

My friend bought a pony recently and sent me some photos; and it looked a bit like that, as if it had quite stumpy legs. But when I saw her in real life she is totally in proportion so perhaps it's the pic making it look worse than it is?
