hands up !!! yep another reining fan here :D like working cowhorse and cutting too
and we might be having a go at western dresage this year ...

Lol so that's at least 4 of us with Fairynuff! I love watching Stressage, racing and eventing but prefer to park my butt on a decent Quarter horse, so that predisposes reining and the Western disciplines, although I will ride hunt seat too if compelled, I just look rubbish in breeches!

X-C so eventing, HTs, team chase etc. But I guess whilst nothing beats the adrenaline rush, and i think i ride xc best out of the three eventing disciplines, part of its because I have a "xc horse". I would hazard a guess if I had a bit of a pansy xc with no fifth leg xc would become more spills & less thrills! :D

Getting old for jumping jumps...

Still love the thrill of xc, ht's but these days preferring to ponder the arts... i.e. dressage.

Don't know what's stressful about it though (lots of people call it stressage)... I find it relaxing.

OK Ive never tried them but I do like showing particualry working hunters and drag hunting! Dressage is boring but add music and I can sit and watch it! Showjumping is OK BUT I do like the Puisannce / Hickstead Derby etc classes that have a bit of a twist. Eventing espically the XC phase has to be the best and if it counts hacking! :D

XC the pony prefers it too :D (mainly brown jumps you see none of these bright filler thingys ;)) and I ride much better to a xc jump than a sj . He is going to turn in to an event pony this year as thats my favourite thing but he hasnt been informed about this yet :p. After that its sj although we are rubbish at it and then dressage as for some reason I get really nervous about dressage. But we are kind of jack of all trades master of none really.

DRESSAGE, could watch it all day, everyday (okay, so maybe I do!).
Although I used to jump competitively and go xc, I now (after having to look after spindly warmblood legs!) worry so much about the speed and force with which some horses hit the solid jumps

Dressage! I just love the challenge of schooling them to be light in the hand yet have power and prescence, plus I'm too gutless to jump these days.
