What's your favourite vit & min supplement?

I use equimins advance complete as its good spec with no iron which suits our land. Since feeding this iv been able to cut back on a lot of feed so in fact this supplement has become my main outlay feed wise but it is fab and wouldn't use anything else.

Do your research and compair levels within the products and what fillers are included etc. the equimins one is linseed based as well so no cheap fillers to pay for. I worked out the break down of each vit/min in a 40g scoop of equimins and on a lot of the goodness it had more in then topspec comprehensive balancer for a 500g dose plus no fillers or molasses that they add.
Do your research and u will be shocked how bad some are ;)

Me too, this is a great all round supplement if you're not going to go down the route of regular forage and soil testing and having an individual mineral supplementation regime specified. I couldn't do any of these things where my horses are based, and I am very happy with the Equimins Advance Complete Concentrate.

I compared the Equimins with Topspec All-In-One today and the Topspec has a much better spec, and there are no fillers!

When I'm back in work I will sit down and re do the dose by dose rate and I will post it. Equimins came off much better apart from biotin. Equimins is linseed based, the topspec without looking at the pot is what, wheatfeed, oatmeal or some other by product I think

Ha I just had a thought, I compaired equimins to the comprehensive balancer which has that supplement added just made into a balancer ( I work with feed companies so do a lot of working outs) so compared a basic 500g weight of balancer to a 40g scoop of equimins and equimins came out top but would need to do it per the supplements dose not the balancer. The only one I remember of the top of my head because copper in our area is a big problem is comprehesive 500g dose = 80mg copper equimins 40g dose = 180mg copper

I use Pro Balance as I know my horses need these minerals after a grass analysis. Unless you know what your horse particularly needs I do not really think you know what balancer is beneficial.

I use an Equivita custom blend one. Means I have very high doses of the things I want and can miss off other things that I either supplement separately or dont need. Works out at £12 a month for a 600kg horse. Its the highest spec I could find for less than £30 a month :)
