What's YOUR horsey "sin" ?

Leather addiction (got to be english, well soaped and oiled!).
Also spend far too much time sweeping the yard and being rather ott about it!

Bridles... I have hundreds of them... I buy them like others buy handbags... Even my tiny pony has a black one a brown one and an inhand one...

Blitz

I have a matching pink headcollar+leadrope with little sparkly pink diamante thingies on the headcollar :o :o In my defence it belongs to my mini Shettie and she does look rather cute in it :D :D And yes I have taken her to a show wearing it :o :D

I have enough tack/equiptment to start a tack shop. Trouble is, its so much I don't know what i've got half the time.... came across 3 pony leather headcollars on Saturday, only because I was cleaning my XC bridle. I was surprised to see them....

One of my horses has a pink leather headcollar with pink leadrope, and a pink diamante browband. She went to Weston Park CCI* wearing them!!!!!!!

That I have more horses than I do saddles or bridles, everything shares.

I rarely clean my tack.

My horses have one turnout rug each, if that.

I use everything until it falls apart.

I ride in curb bits, with curb chains and most of my bridles have no nosebands or throatlashes.

I ride in trainers, jeans and often without a hat.

I let my horses out of the field in a herd to go to the barn.

I lead horses to the bottom pastures from the quad, I also exercise my mini from the quad.

I rarely feel the urge to justify anything I do with my own horses, in my own barn or on my own land.

Enough?

I really believe that you get what you pay for so I own a small fortune in things for my pony even though we dont compete and mainly hack out!

I am also very obsessive about feed...well I say obsessive but perhaps overwhelmed and confused that I am feeding correctly. Therefore I change my horses diet probably more than I should because I fall for marketing hype!

hmm, where to start, taz has to have a different headcollar for travelling than the one he stands tied up to the trailer or on the yard with, his stable is always perfect, flat straw bed level etc, but the outside looks a mess, he has two of every rug, possibly more as i love rugs and i love to clean tack! and boots lol

I own 2 horses that I never ride  can't due to injury. I also shamelessly pamper my horses, they get the best of everything I can afford.

Also I firmly believe that my horses are as happy in their fields with their friends (or in Cappy's case victims) as they are out competing.

So I shall now runaway and hide :D

I own a cob ;)

Said cob is a gelding and has a pink turnout rug because it was a bargain.

My bridle cost £7.50, new, is rarely cleaned/oiled and is still going strong after about 3 years...

On St George's day a group of us decked out ourselves and our horses in England flags (inc face paint for humans and horses) and rode to the pub for lunch.

Other than than I am, of course, perfect :D

way too many rugs!
Every time i ride, she must be immaculate, tail combed out etc.
Tack always clean.
My area of the yard must be swept perfectly.
everything in its place before i leave, with rugs hung up.
I am a bit ocd.

I secretly steal other peoples Blue Chip.......................Joke, joke, of course I don't. I do however ride in a headcollar if I can't be bothered to put a bridle on! I also ride in my normal shoes if I can't be bothered to change into boots. I also lead out to the field by just holding on to her neck and steering the way. There's a theme isn't there. I'm a lazy old sod and can't be bothered to do lots of things!
