Every year I make more or less the same resolution in relation to my horsey lifestyle, lose a couple of pounds, enter more competitions etc etc, but this year I am going to try and stay less stressed with yard life, try to ignore the silly demands my yard owners make, ignore it when people dont say hello and not take that personally, afterall just because they are a miserable bunch I dont have to be, life is too short. Happy New Year to you all.

I did manage to lose a couple of stone this year? but Im usually rubbish at making and sticking to resolutions... I should try not to take any more waifs and strays in?
but .......:o

Hmmm... well first i need to buy a horse :D so i suppose thats my first and most important then continue building my confidence with the aim of maybe a le trec or bit of dressage!!

same as every year, set aside more time to riding my horses rather than just doing work, and maybe try cleaning all my tack this year, rather than last year when i cleaned and oiled all the boots and headcollars and a load more bits and piece then got bored and did not do my saddles and bridles

Carry on improving through lessons on different horses.
Try start schooling my loan pony properly in the breaks between uni and hopefully try jumping her at the end of the summer (depending on the results of the schooling!!)

Keep my 18 year old ticking over hacking and having fun, and as the days lengthen, do more ground work with the four year old and back her/ride her on (that might be someone else braver than me though!), and get the two year old to a couple of shows.

Nothing earth shattering, just a nice horsey year!

I'd love to be able to jump more regularly (nothing exciting/big) without approaching every jump with a vice like grip of fear and to jump at least once every other week to keep it up.

All this in the grand scheme of things being able to get him to a XC for a few schooling sessions :)

More consistent flatwork on my behalf would be a huge relief too!

Lose a couple of pounds, get fitter and then try and get my ginger one ready enough to then go to a competition! However the last completely depends on his mindset... ;)

To actually get off my butt and get Harry and Tonka out to some shows as I do need to sell them both and it might help to show them off a bit rather than useless adverts which cost a bomb; at least it should be more pleasurable! Will it happen? I don't expect so.
