Wheat straw with black grass??

Contacted my usual straw supplier and he's told me he'll only have wheat straw with black grass this year. Has anyone heard of this being used as bedding before? I know that the black grass is a weed that is a problem for the farmer in terms of wheat yield but is there any reason why it wouldn't be suitable as bedding for my horse?

we have black grass growing in our paddocks & its not an issue for the horses, so doubt it will be an issue with bedding, but not certain on this. Where grazing is concerned apparently having horses on the land helps reduce the spread & help get rid of it (random fact! lol!) Sorry not exactly been helpful
