Silly question here but apart from litre size what is the difference between an equestrian wheel barrow and a garden one

Seen a purple one for £30 hold 85 litres

Equestrian one £66+ VAT holds 90 Litres

I have one small pony so don't need to have a huge capacity, what am I not getting?

.... you're not getting the 'Equi' stamp on the equestrian one... !

Alot linked with horses seems to cost double, when in actual fact, like you've illustrated above... for a five litres less you can find yourself a barrow for half the price of the so called 'Equine' one!

In France bog standard 80L plastic wheelbarrow = 85€

If you want a Haemmerlin wheelbarrow you're looking at 140€

Double wheels, and it's 175€ +

And that is just normal garden wheelbarrows...

90% of the wheelbarrows I see in the stable areas at away shows are orange B&Q ones. I have three at home, I change the wheels for the green tyres (solid) and they last forever. They're just the right size for climbing up the muck heap too!
